On August 28, Great Power held the 2024 Product and Technology Launch, unveiling significant achievements in energy storage and battery technologies.

Among the key innovations is the 590 Ultra large-capacity cell, designed to meet the growing demand for safer and more efficient energy storage solutions. The 590 Ultra boasts a 97% energy efficiency rate, enabled by advanced technologies such as micro-nano structural design and a three-dimensional superconducting network. With over 10,000 cycles and a 25-year calendar life, this cell significantly lowers operational costs for customers. This cell is engineered with self-healing SEI film, and advanced safety features such as free radical eliminator and gel electrolyte. Customer sampling is scheduled for Q3 2025, with mass production expected by the end of the year.

Great Power also introduced the POLAR series, the low-temperature residential energy storage batteries. These cells are optimized for cold climates, capable of charging at -30°C with a charge/discharge efficiency exceeding 95%. The POLAR series employs LTSC low-temperature superconducting technology and gel electrolyte to ensure stable performance across a wide temperature range. With a cycle life of over 5,000 cycles, these batteries guarantee more than 15 years of reliable operation, making them ideal for households in colder regions. The POLAR series, available in 50Ah, 72Ah, and 100Ah capacities, is now in full-scale production and delivery.

Great Power also took the opportunity to unveil its first-generation solid-state battery technology, a project initiated in 2020 with a focus on oxide electrolytes. Great Power SSB represents a breakthrough in safety and , replacing traditional separators and liquid electrolytes with an inorganic solid electrolyte, thereby avoiding the risks associated with organic electrolytes. The high thermal conductivity additives also help dissipates internal heat, ensuring component integrity under extreme conditions. The wet coating process also simplify the production and reduces production costs, making it easier to product. The first-generation SSB achieves an energy density of 280Wh/kg, with plans to exceed 300Wh/kg by 2025 through other materials. It is poised for pilot production in 2025, with official production starts in 2026.

Great Power remains committed to seizing every opportunity for battery innovation, striving to deliver safer, more efficient, and more sustainable battery solutions for the future.
